Came across this anon on twitter. Seems to have started as a Peater but slowly has shifted into more niche/experimental circles- not sure if peating is considered niche these days or if I am in a crazy echo chamber.

Basis of honey diet – Defeat the Randle Cycle where fat (& protein?) stunts carbohydrate usage. If straight sugar is among the easiest and fastest to burn, why not just sugar-max in the morning, fast through the evening and get your protein and fat in during the afternoon. Anabology (Twitter anon) doesn’t seem to care too much about protein, has publically stated that he thinks we over-index on how much protein we need to get but this is also an argument that has gone on, and will continue to go on, for years.

Experience so far, early stages I had to have been eating too much during my sugar maxing phase. Rapid thirst, blurred vision, still curious if this was transitionary impact, but as someone who has a naturally elevated glucose from [REDACTED] condition that my health insurance isn’t aware of, I decided to err on the side of caution and bring down sugar intake.

Currently, I am consuming ~6 ounces of straight honey, 2 glasses of orange juice, and ~250 grams of blueberries every morning between waking – noon. Can tell immediate cognitive benefits and energy has been pretty strong. Strong hunger does begin to set in around 2 though this is easily mitigated by a good workout/suana/cold plunge, or something physical to get the sensation out of my mind.

Some bit of tiredness has set in around the 3-6 mark, considering pushing workout to later to combat this.

<Revisit after 2.5 weeks on it>

Overall really fun experience, decided to stop mostly because I was going on vacation. Think I’ll cary quite a bit from this though since it’s crazy applicable

  • Fructose/sugar mega-dosing in the morning (megadose read as however much is tolerable) is a fantastic way to lock tf in all morning/midday. I’ve started just doing this whenever I need to get stuff done at work and am running my standard diet
  • Volume not calories is a fantastic way to fill up without stacking calories
  • Everyone should try this for at least a week, fun, easy, nietzchean asf
